Parmesan Chicken Wings
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon parsley flakes
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- bread crumbs, if desired (see note)
- 2 lb chicken wings
- 1/4 cup butter or margerine, melted
Measure first six ingredients into bowl. Mix well.
Cut off wing tips and discard. Separate wings apart at joint.
Dip each piece in melted butter, then in cheese mixture. Coat completely. Place on foil-lined baking sheet with sides.
Place on foil-lined baking sheet with sides. Bake uncovered in 350 deg oven for about 45 minutes until tender. Serve hot. Makes about 24 pieces.
NOTE: Adding a few fine bread crumbs to the cheese mixture makes it go further. Too many will weaken the flavor.
