Deep Fried Mozzarella Fingers

  • 1 pound mozzarella
  • ½ cup four
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup finely ground bread crumbs
  • ½ teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 2 cups vegetable oil

Cut mozzarella into 2"x¼" fingers. Roll the fingers in flour mixed with seasoned salt, then in egg, and then in bread crumbs. Roll a second time in egg and bread crumbs.

Heat oil in a wok. Once oil is hot, fry a few mozzarella fingers at a time, until they reach a deep brown (approximately 30 seconds). Place on paper towel and blot off excess oil. Serve while hot.
