Hummus

  • 85g (1/2 cup) cooked garbanzo beans
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon garam masala
  • 2 drops sesame oil, or to taste
  • water to thin to desired consistancy

Blend garbanzo beans, lemon juice, olive oil, garlic, cumin, salt, onion powder, garam masala, and sesame oil in a food processor; stream water into the mixture as it blends until desired consistency is achieved.

  • 1 (15 ounce) can garbanzo beans, drained, liquid reserved OR 2 cups cooked garbanzo beans + water
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon garam masala
  • 2 drops sesame oil, or to taste
