Glazed Ribs
- 3 pounds (1.36kg) pork back ribs
Sauce:
- 3/4 cup maple syrup*
- 2 Tbsp brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp ketchup
- 1 Tbsp worchestershire sauce
- 1 Tbsp cider vinegar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp dry mustard
Cut ribs in single rib widths. Put in roaster and season with salt and pepper. Cover and bake in 425F oven for 30 minutes. Pour off grease. Turn oven to 325F.
Sauce: Measure all ingredients into saucepan. Heat and stri until it begins to boil. Pour over ribs. Bake, uncovered, for one hour. Turn ribs occasionally.
*Maple Syrup substitute: in 1 cup glass measuring cup put 2T water + 1 tsp maple flavouring. Fill to 3/4 mark with corn syrup. Stir together.
